Joan Small is on the cover of the March issue of Vogue Italia. This is the 1st time in 4 years that Vogue Italia has used a model of color for their cover, the last time a model of color appear in the glossy magazine was back in July 2008 with models, Naomi Campbell, Jourdan Dunn, Sessilee Lopez and Liya Kebede in Vogue Italia's All Black Issue. Franca Sozzani has been very proud to use models of color over the years, in February 2011 she did on editorial called The Blackallure which features all models of color in the fashion spread. Hopefully other fashion magazines will put more diverse models in their covers and editorials, that means you Vogue US. But what do you think of the cover?
